Google Chrome: Issue displaying Google Maps [Solved]

When I load Google Maps in Google Chrome on my Kali Linux laptop, it shows this picture:

Firefox displays the same part of the map like this:

Chrome shows Maps pixelated with staircase-like artefacts whereas Firefox has a crisp and clean picture to offer.

If you know about a workaround or have hints on the basic problem, please comment!

PS: The Solution

In Linux use these options in your menu call to Chrome:

--high-dpi-support=1 --force-device-scale-factor=1

This will have side-effects for sure! But you’re better off anyways using these options.
